Financial Policy

This page summarizes key financial policies for Serenity Pediatric Wellness (SPW). The signed policies in your Jane intake forms are the most current version.

Payment

SPW is a private-pay practice. Payment in full is due before your scheduled appointment time, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable except:

  • Telehealth / in-office visits: cancellation with at least 24 hours’ notice
  • Home visits: cancellation with at least 48 hours’ notice
  • A true emergency, at SPW’s discretion

When a cancellation meets the notice window, you may choose either a refund or credit applied to a rescheduled visit.

Late arrival and no-shows

If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your scheduled start time, SPW may need to reschedule the visit.

If you cancel outside the notice window, or a visit is rescheduled due to late arrival or no-show, there is no refund. The amount paid will be applied as a credit to the next visit.

Credits must be used within 6 months. Rescheduling is limited to one time per appointment, unless there is a true emergency at SPW’s discretion.

Travel fees

Home visits may include a travel fee based on distance/zone. If applicable, it will be disclosed before scheduling and added to your invoice.

Superbills

SPW can provide superbills upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement (not guaranteed).
