Complex Care Consultation

Whole-child consultations, physician led.

We take a whole-child approach to common and complex concerns.
We start by listening deeply to your child’s story. Then we look at patterns across sleep, nutrition, digestion, stress, and environment, and we build a plan that fits real life.

Led by Dr. Irissa Rosario, a double board-certified pediatrician.
We offer conventional and select functional labs when they add clarity and help your child move forward. All labs and treatments are used thoughtfully and tailored to the needs of your child.

Medical Expertise
We diagnose, prioritize, and coordinate care. If labs, prescriptions, or referrals support the plan, we’ll explain why and help you navigate the next steps.

Practical and not overwhelming
We focus on high-yield steps you can actually implement, with clear priorities (what to do first, what can wait).

Selective testing and supplements
We use testing and supplements thoughtfully, with a clear reason and a plan for what we’ll do with the results.

Collaboration is welcome
We can complement your child’s current pediatrician or specialist care and communicate when helpful.

We don’t promise cures or use “one size-fits-all” protocols
Integrative care is individualized and evidence-informed. No miracle claims.

We don’t run broad expensive panels “just to see”
We avoid testing that isn’t actionable or likely to change the plan.

We don’t provide indefinite supplement “stacks”
We keep recommendations simple, time-limited when possible, and age-appropriate.

We do not offer chelation therapy
We focus on evidence-informed, pediatric-safe approaches and avoid treatments and therapies that carry unnecessary risk.

We’re not a replacement for primary care
Integrative consults and wellness reviews are not a replacement for your child’s PCP. You will still keep your PCP for well-child visits, vaccines and urgent care. We serve as a specialty consultation for deep-dive on complex issues to provide additional time to address your concerns. A wellness review is not the same as a yearly physical, we do not provide school physical forms.

For Community Pediatricians

Complex care consultation service for your patients who need a deeper dive.

Serenity Pediatric Wellness offers physician-led, whole-systems evaluations for complex or chronic pediatric concerns, especially when care feels fragmented across single-system specialists or when families are seeking safe, evidence-informed complementary support.

How This works

  • Consultant model: I’m not functioning as a general PCP for older children. Patients keep their established pediatrician as their medical home.
  • Deep-dive evaluation: Comprehensive history, pattern recognition, and thoughtful, targeted testing when it changes management or meaningfully reduces uncertainty.
  • Collaborative plan: I integrate conventional and complementary options when appropriate, with an emphasis on safety, practicality, and actionable steps.
  • Communication back to you: Families receive a detailed plan, and with consent, your office receives a clinic summary including assessment, recommendations, and resources.
  • When specialty care is needed: I coordinate recommendations with the child’s existing specialists and refer when a condition requires specialty management.
  • Best-fit referrals
  • Multi-symptom or chronic concerns where time and synthesis are the limiting factor
  • Families interested in complementary adjuncts but needing a physician to guide what’s reasonable and safe
  • GI patterns, atopy/eczema/allergy patterns, sleep/regulation concerns, recurrent symptom cycles, “we’ve tried everything” cases

How to Refer

  • Families can schedule a brief clarity call/meet & greet.
  • If you’d like to send records in advance, we can provide a secure method for chart notes/labs.

The goal is fewer dead-ends, less fragmented care, a more clear plan for families who need extra support.
